Kathryn joined Tayntons in 2022 as a secretary in the Family department.
Working within the Family department has helped understand the importance of ensuring clients receive the practical and legal advice they need whilst also appreciating the sensitive and emotional circumstances they are going through. It is essential clients understand from the beginning of the basis of their case as well as the complexities which may arise during the process. This will initially help them feel in control as well as prepare them for what might happen.
Starting her Training Contract in September 2023 she is excited to gain experience outside of a secretarial role in areas such as meeting with clients, attending court hearings and expanding my knowledge of the law. Areas interested are Employment, Family and Personal Injury after studying them during her time at the University of Law and hopes to qualify into one of these areas.
Kathryn obtained a BA History Degree in 2016 from the University of Hull, upon graduating Kathryn took a break from education to work before starting GDL and LPC with the University of Law in 2018.
Outside of work Kathryn enjoys spending time with friends, going for walks and art.
