Daniel qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 after studying law at the University of Birmingham.
He spent his first 7 years of qualification in private practice as a transactional lawyer dealing with a broad spectrum of commercial property matters. Then moved inhouse to work as Property Counsel for the world’s largest cement manufacturer followed by 10 years as Property Legal Director for a FTSE 100 builders merchants.
The highlights of his career have been involvement with:
– The property aspects of a 50:50 JV to create Lafarge Tarmac with a combined EBITDA of £210m.
– Readiness for sale and disposal of UK’s largest plumbing/heating business to H.I.G. capital for £325m.
– Advising a local authority on town centre regeneration scheme with Tesco as anchor tenant.
Daniel is keen to understand the commercial and property needs of his clients. In his spare time he enjoys fitness classes, running and yoga.
